These terms govern your use of Applied & Ghosted at appliednghosted.com. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

What we provide

Applied & Ghosted is a tool that scores and optimizes your resume against a job description you paste in. You can run a free trial, then continue with a Ghost Pass (prepaid uses) or Friendly Ghost Club ($12/month, 60 uses). If you exceed your monthly allowance on a subscription, overflow usage is billed through Stripe. An optional Harvard-style PDF download is available when the product offers it.

We are not a law firm and this page is not legal advice. We are also not an official ATS vendor — scores are heuristic and model-assisted estimates, not a guarantee of how any employer's system will read your resume.

What we don't promise

We do not guarantee interviews, callbacks, or job offers. Better alignment with a posting is useful; hiring still depends on humans, timing, and factors outside our control. The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

Your content and conduct

You must own or have the right to use any resume and text you upload or paste. Do not submit confidential third-party material you are not authorized to share, trade secrets, or content that violates someone else's rights.

Don't abuse the service: no scraping, API attacks, malware uploads, or attempts to bypass limits or billing. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you're doing that.

Accounts, billing, and refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions can be canceled through the Stripe customer portal (Billing in the app). Refunds, if any, are handled at our discretion and through Stripe's normal processes — we're not trying to be difficult, but prepaid and consumed usage may not always be refundable.

You can delete your account from Settings. Deletion is intended to remove your account and associated data per our practices at the time; see our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal data.

Changes and availability

We may update features, pricing, or these terms. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised terms. We may modify, pause, or discontinue parts of the service; we'll try to be reasonable about it.

Disputes

If something goes wrong, contact us first and we'll try to resolve it in good faith. If a dispute cannot be settled that way, it may be brought in the courts of the operator's country of residence, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
